You're invited to music:LX's first-ever virtual showcase and interactive networking event: amplify:LX!
When : October 28th, 2020
"Doors" at 14:00 CEST
Free registration here!
Every year, music:LX has put together Luxembourg Sounds Like… a showcase edition that presents artists in different markets around the world. With the ongoing impact of COVID-19, we have the unique opportunity to present Luxembourgish artists and the Luxembourg music industry on a much wider scale through our first-ever virtual showcase and interactive networking event called amplify:LX.
Luxembourg, though small, is a multicultural hub with three official languages — a direct result of being right in-between Germany, France and Belgium. The music industry here is growing exponentially and is on a path to emerge as one of the next breakout music markets in Europe.
REGISTER to hear directly from the Luxembourg industry, network with the top influencers working to build the music scene here, and watch selections of our artists' cinematic live performances (produced locally at Unison Studios).
It's going to be a fun and informative afternoon dedicated to the artists and the industry here that supports them.
14:00 CEST - Doors
14:30 CEST - The Pulse of Luxembourg
Join this main support discussion, featuring all six showcasing artists in conversation. Acts will discuss their upcoming plans, what challenges Luxembourgish musicians face when exporting their music and how they can continue to develop their careers outside of their own borders in the current climate, especially when touring opportunities are limited.
15:30 CEST - Showtime! - Virtual Showcase
Tune in LIVE on the Main Stage to watch selections of our artists' incredible cinematic live performances and hear directly from Luxembourg music professionals. We are thrilled to be presenting a diverse selection of performances from six Luxembourgish artists making waves internationally, with selections from:
16:30 CEST - European Delegates - Group Feedback
After the virtual showcases, a group of carefully curated European delegates, including representatives from each of Europe’s main music markets, will be invited to discuss and give feedback on the performances in a Group Feedback Session. The delegates will share insider tips on how to enter their respective markets and give constructive feedback for the bands in order to increase their chance of developing a career outside their home country. If you’d like to take part in this exclusive networking opportunity and offer your feedback, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
