SCARRED has been on the road constantly for the past two years supporting the release of their latest album "Gaia-Medea" released May 10th 2013 by Klonosphere/Season of Mist. They've opened for bands such as Lamb of God, Arch Enemy, Decapitated, The Black Dahlia Murder, and many more. Since end of 2013, Scarred's guitarist Diogo Bastos has been working as session musician for Norwegian black metal band Satyricon.

A band with great songwriting quality to whom we can predict a great future...
These harmonies, how incredible full and grooving the drumparts are, and how delicious the almost chaotic reared atmospheric songs are. This is what metal needs: fanatic, special and excellent new blood.
Scarred can pretend to have written an exciting album and that’s the truth.
Gaia/Medea banks on the listener being able to hang with its dynamic ability to cull from the death
metal/modern metal potpourri. If one can do that, then consider Scarred your next viable option in
the European Metal derby.
Dead Rhetoric (USA)
A fresh, new and genre splicing monolith that will rock your medium for deploying tunes in to your
skull. I like to think that if Dimebag had still been alive, he would have been a fan of Scarred.
