Established in 2004, SAXITUDE is a creative saxophone quartet who set out to develop a unique sound with an original repertoire of jazz compositions, improvised music as well as jazz standards and rock and pop music.
Founded by Robi Arend on tenor sax, the current members of the band are Thomas Diemert on baritone sax, Remy Fox on alto sax and Pierre Cocq-Amann on soprano and alto sax. All the musicians being saxophonist professionals, SAXITUDE is developing their own sound by drawing upon influences from the wide variety of the different projects the musicians are involved in. Since 2004, Saxitude has played more than 300 concerts all over Europe and released 6 albums, the latest one being "Four Brothers" in early 2016.
Since 2011, the band also produces the show "Nino Sopranino" for young audience, that features the whole saxophone family from the bass saxophone to the sopranino saxophone, introducing children to classical, funk, jazz, pop and rock music.
