The General Assembly of the French association Jazzé Croisé in Luxembourg!

20 mars 2017

After the successful 2016 edition of the Luxembourg Jazz Meeting & Friends, music:LX is pleased to continue the partnership with the Abbaye de Neimenster and organize the General Assembly of the French association Jazzé Croisé at Neumünster on the 29th and 30th of March.

Each year, a member of AJC (gathering the most renowned French jazz festival) welcomes the General Assembly of the association. This year, it will be held for the first time abroad and in Luxembourg! Combined with showcases, the event will allow French festival directors and the public to discover or rediscover three excellent Luxembourgish bands. Pit Dahm Trio, Maxime Bender Universal Sky and Pol Belardi’s Force will play on March 29th.

Pit Dahm Trio will present a selection of tracks from its first album Omicron, released in 2016 on the Slovak label Hevhetia.

With his new project Universal Sky, the saxophonist Maxime Bender will overcome genres and cultures in order to propose a unifying music, alongside Manu Codjia on guitar, Jean-Yves Jung on organ and Jérôme Klein on drums. A first album will be recorded in 2017 and will be released on the French label Laborie Jazz.

Last but not least, the quartet Pol Belardi’s Force will present its new repertoire based on the theme of the cosmos. Their new album Creation / Evolution will be released on March 31, 2017 on the Dutch label Double Moon / Challenge Records.
